I did get a couple of sponsors for bike parts, and the website is coming along.
Meanwhile, the times I don't study Japanese, I train on my mom's bike (lol, don't laugh).
For those familiar with the South Florida area, here is a picture of my training goal and progress. Yellow dots represent up to what point I am now. The 100 kilometer mark is how much I will have to cover per day once in Japan. That's around 62 miles per day.
I plan to tell my parents this weekend. I waited so long in the hope of minimizing the amount of time they will worry about me. But, they have to know, and since it's almost a month before I leave, it's time to tell them the truth.
Wish-me-luck-cause-they-are-going-to-kill-me.
You're still alive so the trip will be easy compared to telling them what you planned to do lol!! Good luck cousin.
ReplyDelete=) You should have seen my parent's faces when I told them lol.
ReplyDeleteThx Heather. And that bun better be out of the oven before I leave, I wanna see pics before I am knee-deep in the wilderness over there!
(I hear there's no internet in the woods, imagine that?)
Haha Oh man I can only imagine it was about 10 times worse then half the faces you got growing up ;) Freak out parents: Mission Accomplished.
ReplyDeleteWere getting there at least I'll be able to make the baby shower on Friday!:) It's Japan you'd think they'd have hotspots connected to the monkey's out there lol!
